BUG-OUT BAGS
(AKA GET-HOME bags)

Recommended Contents of
72-hour Survival "Bug-Out" Bag

(AKA Zombie Apocalypse Bug-Out Bag)
Downloadable PDF

Your Get-Home pack should contain essential items you would need if you were away from home when disaster struck (like at work when an earthquake hits) and had to get home on foot. I stash one in my car, one in my husband's car, and have an additional bag at work. I also have a couple of bags at home in case my teenagers are home and have to leave ("bug out"). The stuff in the pack will also come in handy if you get stuck in an epic traffic jam, your car breaks down, you name it!
